This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established brokerage that values expertise, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.About the RoleAs an Insurance Broker, you will manage and grow a portfolio of clients, providing insurance advice and solutions across a range of personal and business insurance needs.Key responsibilities include:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, including interviewing prospective clients to understand their insurance needs</li><li>Explaining insurance policy conditions, risks covered, premium rates, benefits, and exclusions to clients</li><li>Assessing client needs and recommending appropriate types and levels of insurance cover</li><li>Identifying and advising clients on significant changes to their risk profile and recommending policy adjustments as required</li><li>Arranging and placing insurance policies with insurers, and negotiating competitive terms and premiums on behalf of clients</li><li>Identifying cross-selling and portfolio growth opportunities across insurance products</li><li>Maintaining accurate client records and preparing policy documentation, reports, and compliance records</li><li>Staying up to date with industry regulations, insurer products, and market trends to ensure compliant and informed advice</li></ul>About YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:<ul><li>Minimum 3+ years’ experience as an Insurance Broker</li><li>Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships</li><li>Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills</li><li>Sound understanding of insurance products and risk management</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Proficiency in insurance broking systems and CRM platforms</li><li>Must hold both Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualifications in general insurance</li></ul>
